More than 200 professionals joined the Real Estate Conference that took place as part of the II Charity Tournament of the Real Estate Sector
Over 200 professionals from real estate agencies, property developers, construction firms, architecture studios and other related fields joined Urbania International and Nvoga Marbella Realty during the II Charity Padel Tournament Real Estate Sector on Friday 18th June at the conferencing venue of La Reserva del Higuerón Resort.
At the heart of this special Costa del Sol Property Sector charity event hosted by Higueron and organised by Nvoga were the beach volleyball, football and padel tennis matches that brought together so many professionals for a weekend of family fun and entertainment in one of the region’s finest sporting venues.
The weekend’s activities were kicked off on Friday 18th July with a seminar for property professionals hosted by José Carlos León, founder and CEO of Nvoga Marbella Realty, and Setareh Mohregi, International Department Director of Gilmar Costa del Sol. They welcomed sales and marketing directors, lawyers, architects, interior designers, property developers and entrepreneurs from the Costa del Sol real estate sector as part of a series of informative discussions, starting with a presentation of the 2021 Market Report by Mariano Beristáin of DM Properties Knight Frank and Alfonso Muñoz of Panorama Marbella, both companies members of the LPA. A round table presentation about the luxury real estate market was next on the agenda, involving Yvonne Galvan of furniture brand Femont Galvan, Bernd Dellwig, Sales Director of Engel & Völkers, the architect Manuel Burgos and luxury homes photography specialist, Charly Simon.
An interesting presentation by the Commercial Director of CaixaBank, Gerardo Cuartero, was followed by a round table discussion moderated by José Carlos León with Ignacio Peinado, President of the Málaga Association of Constructors and Developers, Tomás Gasset, CEO of Urbania International and José María Morente, Director for Urban Planning at the Marbella Town Hall. The new design trends in architecture and the 'Build to Rent' concept were some of the topics addressed by the experts, who also spoke of the city model, industrialised homes as part of new construction systems, and the prudence with which the sector must face the current boom of sales.
This productive morning session concluded with a light lunch at the wonderful venue that also hosted the weekend’s sports events with such aplomb.
Bringing the Costa del Sol’s property sector together for a good cause
Interrupted by Covid last year, this was the second edition of the Charity Padel Tournament Real Estate Sector, an event that not only brings together the region’s property sector but does so for a very deserving cause. The money raised for BUILDING THE FUTURE will help to provide schooling venues and facilities for young children in a rural part of Kasese, Uganda, organised under the auspices of the Rwenzori Child Care project.
Other worthy beneficiaries are more local in nature, including FUENSOCIAL in Fuengirola, CADI in Marbella, the Debra Association for Butterfly Children and the AVOI volunteers for the treatment of children with cancer.
We would like to give a big thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s event a huge success, including collaborators, sponsors, speakers and, of course, members of the public.
