It’s that time of year again and even though the sun shines almost every day throughout winter, we still thoroughly enjoy the Christmas season in Marbella.
There is a definite lack of snow, however we make up for this by enjoying the seasonal atmosphere in Marbella and the surrounding towns. The Christmas lights are surpassing their already superb high standards, with nearby Málaga now becoming one of the most visited cities in Spain, with crowds thronging to the main pedestrian street of Calle Larios to experience a dazzling sound and light show. Presented twice nightly, it is well worth the trip to see them or if not, closer to home, Marbella and San Pedro are more than holding their own with delightful Christmas lights of their own.
Of course, now is the time for office parties and Nvoga is no exception! Last Thursday, we were delighted to gather for the evening and give thanks for the past year’s successes and enjoy the company of our colleagues in a relaxed setting. Taking place at Restaurante Buenaventura in the shadow of the Iglesia de Ntra. Sra. de la Encarnación (Church of our Lady of Incarnation), in the delightful main square of the historic Old Town of Marbella, a great time was had by all.
We were treated to a wonderful gourmet menu while celebrating the Christmas spirit. Talk was of the successes of the past year, which we owe to our wonderful clients. As the year is drawing to an end, we also look to the future and what 2018 will bring. We are happy to note that the real estate market on the Costa del Sol is looking buoyant and we are optimistic for another great year ahead, filled with hard work and new projects!
