Nvoga founding member of new real estate Association LPA: Leading Property Agents of Spain

The newly founded LPA (Leading Property Agents of Spain) is the initiative of ten of the Costa del Sol’s most respected real estate agencies. Counting on the full support of the Marbella town hall, its aim is to promote quality service, expert know-how and high ethical standards in the region’s property market.

The founding members are all handpicked, highly respected real estate companies with many years of experience and a track record that speaks for itself in property brokerage, development and consulting. Their aim is to create a quality brand that is recognised for not only upholding the highest standards of professionalism in the industry, but actually promoting it at a national and international level.

“We are passionate about the work we do and the beautiful area we live in, and it was our wish to create an organisation capable of highlighting the best of the Costa del Sol and bringing together those property companies in Marbella that have stood the test of time and earned a reputation for quality, expertise and integrity,” said José Carlos Leon, CEO of Nvoga and President of the LPA.

Championing quality and know-how

He has long advocated the promotion of the highest standards in the tourist and real estate sectors of the Costa del Sol, and believes the leading property agents have an important contribution to make in this. Nvoga has even invested in a professional real estate academy at its stylish new offices in Marbella centre, where courses, seminars and industry updates are offered.

“It is also a place of exchange of ideas and information,” says José Carlos, “a place where industry professionals can meet and add to the body of knowledge and sense of collaboration and transparency in the industry.” He shares the belief with other members of the LPA that a region as beautiful and special as this should offer the highest levels of service and professionalism.

“We cater to a high level of international clientele in Marbella, so the industry should be fully equipped to provide a concomitantly high category of experience to them in terms of technical know-how and personal treatment.” One important element of the LPA is its collaboration with the local and regional authorities to streamline the dialogue between the business and public sectors.

“In practical terms this above all provides a line of communication not only between agents, developers and architects with the public institutions, but also functions on behalf of homebuyers, residents and investors, as it becomes an important soundboard for their feedback.” Central in this is the guarantee of expertise that the LPA’s members can offer when it comes to legal, fiscal, planning and other technical fields, and the desire to streamline the experience for buyers and investors alike in the greater Marbella and Costa del Sol regions.

“Between our input and the feedback of our colleagues, clients and related industries, we can form a collaboration with the local authorities whose aim is to enhance the beauty and appeal of this wonderful region and ensure we make it the very best it can be.”
